Our Take

Predicted: Alabama in 2

All-SEC Super: Tide Hosts Tigers in Tuscaloosa

Two SEC sweeps. Alabama tore through Tuscaloosa — 8-0 over USC Upstate, 3-0 over Belmont, 9-0 over USC Upstate in the title — outscoring the regional 20-0. LSU's path was just as clean: 8-0 over Akron, 8-0 over Virginia Tech, 7-2 over VT in the final, with Briski-counterpunch arms on full rest. The regular-season SEC meeting tilted Alabama's way at Rhoads, and that's the building they come back to with the No. 1 overall seed.

X-Factor

LSU has to land a punch in Game 1. Briski hasn't lost a series start since March; if she takes the opener, Bama's bats finish it Saturday. If LSU steals Friday, the third game is a coin flip in front of 5,000 SEC fans.
