Aggie Bats Outlast Kenzie Brown's Hot Streak

Our Pick
Texas A&M
CAUTIOUS

Trisha Ford's bounce-back year features two .460+ bats in Powell and Perez. But Arizona State just upset 50-win Texas Tech 4-0 in the Big 12 final behind Kenzie Brown's 2-hit shutout — Brown is a Top-20 arm peaking at the right time. UConn's Cat Petteys was Big East POY. This regional has more credentialed mid/low seeds than most top-half regionals.

X-Factor

Brown is a Top-20 arm. If she throws a clean 6 innings against Mya Perez's 55-game on-base streak, this regional is genuinely up for grabs. Aggie depth wins over 3 games, but a rubber game is likely.
